We all love heading to the cinema and grabbing our snacks to check out the latest blockbuster, rom-com or dramatic flick. Unfortunately, regular trips to the cinema can really add up. One great way to save if you’re a regular at your local multiplex is to join get a cinema membership.

Cinema memberships often allow you to save on your ticket price as well as get discounts on other things including snacks. This may not be the ideal option for those who don’t go to the cinema more than once a month, but for those checking out a movie two to three times, this could be a huge saver. Most of the UK’s biggest cinema chains offer memberships so check them out to see which is the best for you.

Odeon myLimitless – starting from £14.99/month

  • Odeon myLimitless - £14.99 per month

  • Odeon myLimitless Plus - £17.99 per month

Odeon offers two versions of their membership plan, myLimitless. For £14.99 per month, you can become a regular myLimitless member. This will allow you to see as many movies as you’d like and get 10% off food and drink. You will also get exclusive invites to see movies before their official UK release. However, there are additional charges for Luxe cinemas.

With myLimitless plus, you can get all the features of the regular myLimitless membership but avoid additional charges for Luxe cinemas. You will also get unlimited access to seat upgrades and screen upgrades such as iSense and 3D. Also, if you pay for your membership annually, you’ll get 12 months for the price of 10!

Cineworld membership – starting from free

  • My Cineworld – once off free sign-up

  • My Cineworld plus - £6.95 annually

  • Unlimited – starting from £10.99 per month

Cineworld offers three different memberships which can help make your cinema going experience easier. Their basic My Cineworld membership allows you to book faster and get e-tickets and is completely free. My Cineworld plus gets you all the same benefits, along with 10% off online tickets and discounts on snacks for just £6.95 per year.

Cineworld also offers an Unlimited option which for gets you access to unlimited standard 2D tickets, as well as 10% off cinema snacks and drinks and access to advance screenings. You will also pay less for non-standard tickets including iMAX 3D, 4DX 3D, Superscreen 3D and ScreenX 3D, and get 50% off event cinema screenings. Additionally, unlimited members get a 25% discount at Bella Italia, Café Rouge and Las Iguanas as part of their membership.

Unlimited members will also get additional benefits after their first 12 months including free standard 3D tickets and 25% off food and drinks. The price for Cineworld Unlimited varies on location and is based on the ticket price at your local Cineworld:

  • Group 1 locations - £12.99 a month

  • Group 2 locations - £17.99 a month

  • Group 3 locations - £19.99 a month

  • Group 4 locations - £22.99 a month

Everman Cinema Membership – starting from £89 annually

  • Everyman membership - £95 per year

  • Everyicon membership - £350 per year/£31 per month

  • Everywhere membership - £680 per year/£59 per month

Everyman cinemas offer three membership tiers with different benefits. Both the Everyman and the Everyicon membership tiers allow you to bring a guest for free on Mondays, special rates on tickets, exclusive Members’ previews, 10% off food and drink, 10% off private hire and fee-free booking. The Everyman membership is £89 per year and gives you 6 free tickets, while the Everyicon membership is £325 per year and gets you 24 free tickets.

Everyman cinemas also offers the Everywhere tier membership which is £680 annually or £59 per month. For this, you will receive unlimited films for a year for 2 people, 25% off live satellite broadcast events, exclusive members’ previews, 10% on food and drink, 10% off private hire and no online booking fees.

Curzon Cinema Memberships – starting from free

  • Under 25 membership – free sign-up

  • Classic membership – from £50 per year

  • Cult membership – from £285 per year/£25 per month

Curzon cinemas offer three different membership tiers for cinema-goers to save on their trip to the multiplex. The first tier is for Under 25s and is completely free to sign-up to. Under 25 members will be able to enjoy cinema tickets from just £9 during peak hours and £6 during off-peak hours.

Classic members get 5 free tickets per year which can be redeemed at Curzon cinemas or on Curzon home rentals. Meanwhile, Cult members enjoy 7 free tickets a week which can be redeemed in Cinema or on at home rentals. Classic and Cult memberships also enjoy discounts on additional tickets for them and a guest.

All Curzon Cinema membership tiers also get discounts on cinema snacks and Curzon Home Cinema home rentals.
